Der große Bruder des Baja 3.0 ist da. Aufgrund des Kundenfeedbacks hat sich TOPS entschieden, das beliebte 3-Zoll-Modell zu dehnen. Anstelle der Coyote Tan-Pulverbeschichtung hat sich TOPS entschieden die berühmten Black River-Waschung aufzuwerten, die jedem Messer einen einzigartigen Look verleiht. Grüne Canvas-Micarta-Griffschalen und eine hochwertige Leder-Dangler-Scheide machen dies zu einem Muss für Benutzer und Sammler gleichermaßen.
Im Gegensatz zu den anderen Modellen von TOPS im Bereich von 4 bis 4,5 Zoll ist dieses Modell 5/32 Zoll dick. Diese Dicke zusammen mit einem vollflächigen Schliff verleiht ihm eine Stärke über 1/8 Zoll Klingen, ermöglicht es ihm jedoch, hervorragende Schneidfähigkeiten beizubehalten, da es etwas dünner als 3/16 Zoll ist. Die Inspiration für den Namen und das Design stammt von Baja California. Baja ist bekannt für seine Kontraste, vom höchsten Punkt des Devil’s Peak in 10.157 Fuß Höhe über die niedrige Sonora-Wüste bis hin zu den wunderschönen Stränden. Es ist weltweit anerkannt für einige der rauesten, "schlechtesten" Gebiete.
